3d Studio Max & Photoshop 7

This is kinda a flyer design concept for a rave flyer, or a trance/happy hardcore CD cover.

The sparkle trail is something new I tryed, what do you think of them? Would I have been better off with no sparkle trail?

In general I really like it, but it is quite obvious where 3DS stops PS starts... perhaps some effects/filters on the trails....?

Yeah .. it's not bad but there is a visible border beetwen 3d and 2d... I mean you can see where max and where photoshop were used ... you should use some bluur filter ... anyway I like the colors and design ... 5+

hm yeah.. I'd initally used 3d max's video post to put the sparkle trail's in and it looked awful b/c it put's the trail's in right on top of the thing. dosen't have any wrap to it. I think I've got an idea how to do it though now and incorporate the 3d trail's to...

You've got a lot going on in this image. I like the colors and the reflections on the 3D object, but overall it's a little busy. Don't worry about getting 1's. I get zeros.

great amazing colours and textures....i dont know what it is meant to represent but reminds me of some ?creature coming out of a lava flow or something. the 3D creature..I sooo love the fluid metal look {chrome?} you have given it.

I really like it. I even like the contrast between the 3D model and the 2D background. I mean why not? Even if you can see where 3DS ends and PS begins that doesn't change the fact that it's beautiful. Perhaps it has symbolic meaning eh?
