Description

The lake had existed for a long time. It could not remember a time when it had not existed. The ghost's who haunted the still lake did. At one time the lake had not existed and the land had been theirs.

There are 7 faces hidden in here. Let me know if you find there or if they are ovious. The key is below.

I learned a new thing painting this, I used just a same straight scribble line but by changeing the angle's between shadows you can help increse there height without using as different colors.

I took the main reference photo and a few others. The main one is the one with the icy lake and tree covered hill behind it. The rest are copyrighted by corbis but it they say I say you can look, just can't reproduce.

yep found them all easily enough.. if you made the lines less sketchy and more like the colors around them, they would blend in better and be more subliminal.. interesting concept :)

I really like this image, cause there is a concept, a story and a nice idea behind it....its not just a sexy babe or something.

The execution of the image could use some more work. Some parts of it are very good yet - some are not. The biggest stone at the bottom and the one on its right are quite good yet - cause they have a structure and are quite nice textured.
The columns are a bit 'lame'. They could use some more texturing and color changes...especially those far away from the viewer.
The faces are quite easy to find. They are too sketchy. Try to work em into the structure more with shadows and highlights - get rid of the sketchy lines...the faces on the mountain and the big stone are a good start...

Keep it up this image is a good start. Work on details a bit more.

Nice to see more work from you. I'm not sure if this image works too well, there's a few things that let it down.
The two obvious faces (in the lake and in the clouds) look comparitively very sketchy and don't integrate so well into the rest of the image (they look ON rather than IN the scene). I think the clouds would be better with some faded wispy edges and being more lumpy - maybe adding some more clouds in the top left as that seems vacant.
I think you've thought a lot about this composition, viewing a variety of references. The textures of the rocks at the bottom look good. Keep it going!

Concept is okay, execution is quite helpless, I am sorry to admit. The composition is a jamble, the colors are monochromatic when they aren't outright neutral gray. Need more (quite more) practice here.
